Essex Sports Center – Middleton, MA

Located on Manning Avenue, the completed project contains two indoor ice hockey rinks with spectator seating and an indoor turf playing field.  The project is located on a parcel of land owned by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) which is in turn leased to the Essex Technical High School. The Essex Sports Center design team coordinated with the High School and DCAMM to lease a portion of the campus for the sports center while providing students free school related use of the rinks and field. Since the project is on State owned land A&M assisted in the filing of a Notice of Project Change with the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs.
Additional construction support services and extensive land survey efforts were provided for this project including existing conditions, lease exhibits and construction layout.
