35 Rosebrook Apartments - Wareham, MA

Part of Rosebrook Place, the recently completed 35 Rosebrook Apartments is the latest installment to the mixed-use development.  A&M has partnered with AD Makepeace and Smook Architecture to provide structural engineering services for the 20,500 SF, 65-unit luxury apartment building.  The building parcel slopes to the back which allowed for a design of 4-stories in the front and 5-stories in the back.  The design was achieved by way of a structural foundation retaining wall which runs down the middle of the building.  Conventional shallow depth strip and spread footing foundation and slab-on-grade floor construction was used.  Wood framed bearing walls support the wood floor and roof trusses as the superstructure above the foundation.

A&M has also provided land survey and civil engineering for all the projects in Rosebrook Place as well as Southcoast Health System, and All American Assisted Living in the new adjacent 150,000-square-foot Rosebrook Business Park.
