North Shore Crossing Grand Opening Weekend

North Shore Crossing Grand Opening Weekend

The project design features a plaza consisting of four buildings highlighted by anchor tenant, Whole Foods Market. The plaza includes a restaurant, a cafe with outdoor seating, a bank with a drive-through window, and six to eight smaller specialty stores.  Civil engineering services include parking lot configuration, site access, drainage improvements, utility coordination, and site amenities.

The project also includes a $5 million dollar traffic improvement project, which rebuilds the connector road between Sohier Road and Brimbal Avenue that runs adjacent to the plaza site. The connect road features roundabouts at both ends and a widened section within Brimbal Avenue.  Local permitting included Site Plan Special Permit, Conservation Commission review of wetlands and stormwater management and Zoning Board of Appeals. State permits include MEPA.
