Allen & Major Associates, Inc. provided land survey, civil engineering, and landscape architecture for the adaptive reuse of a 106,000 SF office building at 5 Burlington Woods Road in Burlington, MA.
A&M provided support for the conversion of an existing 106,000-square-foot, 3-story building into a modern life science facility.  The building’s footprint increased slightly with the addition of loading and services platforms.  • Utility, landscaping, and pedestrian improvements in support of both operational and site functionality were addressed as well as the addition of a safe pedestrian crossing parallel to Burlington Mall Road.   The landscaping enhancements include adding 17 total trees (7 Armstrong Maple Trees and 10 Redmond Linden Trees) and removal of bituminous in favor of planting areas.
