Broadstone's The 305 Apartments - Waltham, MA

Allen & Major Associates, Inc. provided civil engineering, environmental permitting, landscape architectural services, and full construction support for this multi-family located at 305 Winter Street in Waltham, Massachusetts.  The project comprises 314 residential units with surface and below-grade parking for 472 vehicles.   Permitting included 40B Comprehensive Permit, Remediation General Permit Notice of Intent (NOI), NPDES, City of Waltham, Inflow & Infiltration permit.  
Extensive landscape considerations included incorporating existing vegetation into the overall design to blend the building and parking elements in with the natural environment. Exterior lighting highlights the trees and adds to the modern feel.  This amenity-heavy design includes an interior courtyard area that sits on the garage deck and features a green roof patio area, putting green, and lawn games.  A second interior courtyard that was created to provide natural light to the interior units features undulating rivers of colored stone.  A ground-floor amenity area includes a zero-entry pool, cabanas, an outdoor kitchen, a dining area, a lounge spot with an exterior fireplace/TV, a dog area, and a kid's zone play area.
