Revolution Hall - Lexington, MA

Hospitality & Entertainment

Services: Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture

Completed in 2020, A&M provided civil engineering, landscape architecture, & land surveying for this unique concept 4,800 +/- s.f. one-story restaurant with 98 seats.  It is only one of two establishments in Massachusetts recognized as an open-air eatery.  Part of a 20-acre office & R&D campus, the restaurant was conceived to provide a much-needed food destination for both Maguire Road & the nearby Hartwell Avenue business community.  Revolution Hall now provides a gathering place for tenants at the park, local businesses, and the surrounding communities.

Site improvements include parking, landscaped areas, new utility connections, two landscaped patios, and sidewalk connections.  The site also has a direct bike & pedestrian connection to Minuteman Bikeway (America’s Revolutionary Rail-Trail) so bike racks were included for bike path guests.

Unique architectural design includes exposed interior structural beams, open-air interior, and 7 garage doors which create a seamless transition between interior & exterior patios.  Landscape elements included hardscape, contemporary furnishings for dining, and movable planters for seasonal plantings.
