Thayer Sports Center - Braintree, MA

Located at the South Athletic Campus at Thayer Academy, the project included the demolition and construction of a new, 86,286-square-foot building, off-street parking, and infrastructure.  The sports complex includes 1 ½ ice rinks, an athletic sports field, several locker rooms, a strength and conditioning room, a therapy room,  and spectator viewing areas. The Center also has an indoor, multi-sport playing field that converts to tennis courts in the spring.  Multi-disciplined services included full land survey, utilities, landscape and hardscape, site lighting, stormwater mitigation, and construction services. The parcel was bifurcated between zones, therefore a re-zoning of the project through the Office of Town Council and the Planning Board was required during the early phases of the project.
