Hilton Hotel – Woburn, MA

Located at 2 Forbes Road, this project consists of renovating the existing hotel lobby and entrance way into a larger and more attractive area complete with a new restaurant (Matadora Spanish Steak & Tapas) and outdoor seating area. An additional drainage system was designed to handle the building footprint expansion, as well as an improved drive and entrance way as well as general infrastructure at the site. Permitting included Woburn Planning Board Site Plan Approval and Engineering review. Project challenges included undesirable and contaminated subsurface soil conditions, as well as ongoing construction for the major renovation project occurring in unison with standard hotel operation. Construction administration was performed as necessary to install stormwater controls and smooth construction operation while guests were staying at the hotel.
