Oak Point is a 1,150 unit, 55 and older retirement community situated on 1,100 ± acres nestled among the rolling hills of what used to be farm land.  The development was completed in phases; phases 1-7 are complete with a total of eight phases expected.  Each phase needed to pass stringent permitting requirements set forth by this growing town.

A&M provided master planning, permitting, site and roadway design and construction administration which included stormwater management, grading and underground utilities. Seven and half miles of roadway have been constructed to date as well as nine and a half miles of driveways. Design challenges included large wetlands, dense woodlands, and strict municipal land development requirements for permitting and peer review.
Survey crews performed topographic surveys to establish the existing grades of the project, which allowed A&M engineers to design the seven current phases of the project, including the Clubhouse. As-Built surveys were completed on all constructed features of the project for occupancy permits and extensive ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys were provided in order to complete the sale of the property in 2012 which was the largest land transaction in Middleboro history.

One of the most coveted assets of this development are the million dollar Clubhouses which together contain over 36,000 square feet of interior space for homeowner and guest use, 3,600 square feet of office space for the management team use, three swimming pools, one basketball court, billiards room, fitness center, crafts room, media room, library and 5 separate meeting rooms.  Outside the clubhouse, homeowners can enjoy tennis, bocce courts, shuffleboard, walking trails, and a putting green.
