Prescott Farm - Laconia, NH

The Prescott Farm property is a historic farm property located in Laconia, NH.  Master planning services are being provided to transform it into an Environmental Education Center.  It is the mission “ to provide year-round environmental education programs for all ages in a place in the Lakes Region community that encourages curiosity, discovery, fun, and connection to the natural world”. 

A consolidation of the multiple parcels will allow Prescott Farm to further develop it’s programming and assist with the plan to expand its facilities to meet the needs of the community.

Working in partnership with Lavallee Brensinger Architects, our Landscape Architects are providing design input in order to incorporate the existing Fledglings Preschool and the Historic Farm buildings that are intrical to the character of the property.   Areas of the Master Plan include but aren’t limited to: 

• A New Preschool Building
• New parking and bus turn around for the Preschool and entire property
• ADA trail to connect Farm Buildings, Environmental Center (old Preschool) and Preschool
• Remove old parts of the Farm Buildings and Add new or Renovate
• ADA Parking for the Farm Buildings
• Organic Farming
• Greenhouses
• Solar Array
• Irrigation
